In the fractured lands of Da’ntun Schapiu, power ebbs and flows like the tides that crash against the shores of the Nerkern Archipelago. Five distinct cultures vie for dominance across forests, mountains, and seas, each bringing their own strengths and ambitions to bear. Meanwhile, two legendary creatures — the mighty Hogfish and the enigmatic Knowledge Seeker — lurk at the margins of civilization, one an unstoppable force of nature, the other a potential harbinger of apocalypse.
The dense fungal forests of Sang-Congl pulse with life as the mysterious Sanguliern expand their domain. The proud humans of The Bafush Kingdom forge their metals and practice their rituals, ever vigilant against threats from beyond. Across the Khafasa Bitehli mountains, the Brass Scarabs hum their metallic songs amid ancient ruins. On the Jardwn Peninsula, the decadent Jardwnians pursue pleasure in all its forms, their cities centers of both commerce and corruption. And on the seas, the nomadic Nerkern raid coastal settlements from their city-ships, while the territorial Khazgahsen guard their islands with relentless ferocity.
This is a world on the precipice of change, where alliances shift like sand and opportunities for glory — or destruction — await those bold enough to seize them.
Players will guide their chosen culture through this complex landscape, making decisions that will shape the future of Daniun Schapiu. Will you forge alliances or subjugate your neighbors? Develop your civilization through trade and culture, or build armies to conquer new territories? And what will you do when confronted with the awesome power of the Knowledge Seeker, whose appetite for culture may be the only thing preventing it from ending the world?
The scenario unfolds over multiple ages, with each culture starting at a different technological level, reflecting their unique development paths. Players will need to balance immediate goals with long-term strategies, all while adapting to the actions of their rivals and the unpredictable forces of nature.
